Women's Telehealth is thrilled to partner with Jigsaw Meeting to assist in our ability to provide long distance learning with our remote clinical partners. Since telemedicine is a relatively new modality to deliver specialty care to rural patients, we often need to teach the telemedicine cart function, how to "present" a patient using Bluetooth ancillary equipment, and how to capture and transmit high quality ultrasound images using teleradiology. These new capabilities are exciting! Most of our patients and clinical partners are 2-6 hrs from our host site, where the specialty physician is provides the consult.

The JSM application has allowed us to be national leaders in telemedicine by providing this long distance training. This year at the national American Telemedicine Association meeting, we presented this method of training to continue (post GO LIVE) education process as a way our clinical partners can learn our technology and improve their own skill sets. We also use the application to review new ultrasonographer images to help them achieve specialty certification (such as nuchal translucency). We continue to expand ways we can use JSM for high risk OB team conferences, cost effective sales presentations, and long distance interviewing. Shortly, we plan to use JSM to deploy the first national "Centered Pregnancy" program with a high risk component in conjunction with the State of Georgia Community Health program.

JSM is a unique and easy to use tool in the market place that matches our telemedicine mission- to deliver when needed, where needed and to whom needed; removing the need for being always "in person" while remaining effective. The Jigsaw meeting platform is so much better than any other online class platform I've ever used. Being able to actually learn from my instructor, and not just prerecorded videos made all the difference! The mix of all different ways to learn made it really easy for me to focus and get something out of each class session.
