Overview of e-Stamos

Who Is Jigsaw Meeting?

Jigsaw Meeting is an organization that has developed a web-based interactive, collaborative solution. This solution provides companies a means to strategize, teach, collaborate, and meet with customers and staff virtually and interactively. Jigsaw Meeting is a privately-owned company based north of Atlanta, Georgia, owned by a group of executives who have flown millions of miles to meet face-to-face with customers, prospects, and staff, and who believe that by utilizing specific technology you can effectively meet face-to-face in a virtual world.     ^top

What is Jigsaw Meeting?

A solution that allows your computer screen to be divided into multiple panes so you can view, interact, and strategize with others during a web meeting. Each pane has multiple capabilities, including seeing the presenter, viewing and manipulating the presentation materials, numerous communication tools, 3D models, videos, noteboards, whiteboard, and instant quizzing/polling options.     ^top

Why Is Jigsaw Meeting different from other computer based conferencing systems?

Jigsaw Meeting is an interactive web meeting solution. There is no software to download and you do not share your desktop. Everything is provided through our secure servers which significantly reduces lag time. Unlike the computer-based web conferencing systems, the presenter has multiple tools available and the attendees/participants have the ability to review data, information, 3DS models, videos, and other information independent of the presenter or other participants. The ability to video and text chat, independently move forward in the presentation, manipulate the data and models during the presentation, group and individual noteboards and whiteboards for strategic meetings, with Adobe® PDF capability, all add to the engagement and interaction in a Jigsaw meeting.     ^top

Getting Started

What are the system requirements for using Jigsaw Meeting?

To use Jigsaw Meeting you need the following ( minimum requirements):
Internet Explorer® 6.0 or newer, Mozilla®, Firefox®2.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
Adobe Flash 10 Player
Windows® 2000, XP, 2003 Server or Vista.
Cable modem, DSL, T1, or better Internet connection. The slower DSLs may cause some delays in graphic and video viewing.  Slower internet connections may also impact audio quality if the meeting is using VOIP.
Minimum of Pentium® class 1 GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (recommended) (2GB of RAM for Windows Vista).
Participants utilizing audio through VoIP, it is highly recommended that you use a USB headset.  You can utilize the traditional computer speakers/microphone but it will lack clarity and the opportunity for distracting feedback is strong.
Participants utilizing live video  will need a webcamera connected to their system. Most webcams are compatible and will provide good quality video feeds.
Participants utilizing live and prerecorded sessions through the video quadrant will need either a web camera or a video recorder that can be plugged in to their computer.     ^top

Who has the right to host or schedule a meeting?

Jigsaw Meeting is licensed by named hosts and a set number of participants per host. The three different levels of participants are host, presenter, attendee.  Only named hosts can schedule a meeting.  The host can have multiple presenters in a meeting, who will have rights and access to add data to the meeting.   There can also be multiple attendees in the meeting.  The attendee has the capability to view and manipulate certain data provided in the meeting by either the host or presenters.     ^top

How many participants can join?

Jigsaw Meeting is licensed by named hosts and a set number of participants per host. The subscription your company purchased, determines the number of participants that can join a meeting. Any subscription can be upgraded immediately to add more participants.     ^top

What if I need to increase the number of attendees per host?

Multiple subscription plans are available. If your company chooses one plan and discovers that you need more host and/or participant accesses, you can always upgrade to the next package. Jigsaw Meeting will also work with your company to identify your specific needs and will build a customized subscription package, if necessary.     ^top

Do I need a conference call in number for the audio portion of a meeting?

No. Jigsaw Meeting utilizes VOiP for the audio portion of your sessions. You can utilize conference numbers should your company choose,  but our recommendation is to utilize our complete technology package and ultimately save costs.  To utilize VOIP effectively, we recommend the use of USB headsets for noise and feedback cancellation and to ensure better sound quality.     ^top

How do I know my system has the necessary upgrades and connectivity for Jigsaw Meeting?

Jigsaw Meeting will do a complete system check of your computer when you sign in for the first time. It will identify what hardware you have, whether you are running the latest version of critical programs such as Adobe Flash 10 Player.  It will also identify whether your Internet connection is fast enough to enable smooth graphic, 3DS models, animation, and video encoders/streaming videos without delays and choppiness. Our system will prompt you to download software upgrades and will identify if you need to increase your bandwidth to have effective and smooth video/audio capabilities.  Your bandwidth is monitored throughout the meeting.     ^top

Once you or your company has subscribed to Jigsaw Meeting, you will be sent access information.   By clicking on the link, you will be prompted to complete a brief profile that includes setting your password.  Once that information is complete, you are ready to start using Jigsaw.     ^top

Jigsaw Meeting Security

Are my sessions and information secure?

Yes. Jigsaw Meeting uses 128 bit encryption along with SSL layers to ensure all levels of information is secure. We use the highest security standards to protect user privacy and access to data, information and systems. We utilize complete end to end 128-bit encryption (AES – Advanced Encryption Standard) for all meeting data including but not limited to information, graphics, files, screen images, chat text, whiteboard session, 3D models and animation. We are also PCI compliant which ensures additional security of processing payment information.     ^top

How do I ensure that only invited attendees can join my sessions?

You control who you invite to the sessions by utilizing e-mail invitations. Once you have sent an invitation to a prospective attendee, they will be able to join the meeting through a link in the invitation.  Prior to actually joining the meeting, the invitee must set up his/her profile, including a password that they will utilize any time they are invited to a meeting on Jigsaw Meeting.  The Username through Jigsaw Meeting is an individual’s e-mail address, which will auto-populate from the invitation link.     ^top

How does Jigsaw Meeting get past my company's firewalls?

There should be no firewall issues because you are not downloading software.  In fact, we are not coming into your “e-space”, you are coming to the internet to log in to us.  If you have Internet capability, you can utilize Jigsaw Meeting because it is totally web enabled.  We utilize the main internet ports that most organizations open for their team members to access data on the web.  In the unlikely event that you cannot access Jigsaw Meeting due to extreme firewalls lock outs by your company, we can work with your IT department and open a “tunnel” to allow access to the Jigsaw Meeting application.     ^top

What if I need to add attendees to the session after the initial e-mail invitation?

You can send out multiple invitations to your scheduled sessions, after your initial e-mail invitation, if there are other attendees you want to participate in the session.   Should you need to add participants to your meeting after the initial wave of invitations are sent, the application will only send out invitations to those invitees who have not yet received an invitation.  You can also invite someone to the meeting after the meeting has started by simply going to the Invite Attendee page, adding their e-mail address and hitting the Send Invitations button.  They will be able to join the meeting in progress through clicking on the Log In link and following the log in process.     ^top
